Musical Journey

Moore was born to Bishop Brian David Moore and Elder Jametta Chandler Moore in Charleston, South Carolina, growing up immersed in church life. When Moore was serving as a music director at a small church in his hometown, he experienced a personal encounter with God that inspired a passion for studying the Bible.

Moore is a prominent member of Maverick City Music, a collective of worshippers working in the contemporary Christian music and Gospel world. His breakthrough came with the hit song “Jireh,” which he performed alongside Naomi Raine. The song debuted at No. 10 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart and at No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart, becoming Moore’s first appearance in the top ten for both charts.
